Neofilm®
Presentation
- The Neofilm® is a transparent and extensible field formed by a very thin sheet of polyurethane exible and deformable coated with a non-latex hypoallergenic adhesive.
Properties
- Porous through its macro molecular chain tiring easily switch tiny molecules of gas :
air, oxygen, water steam and carbon dioxide.
- Impermeable to liquids
- Self-extensibile, flexible and deformable
- Transparent to the light
- Great tolerance skin
- Microbiological Barrier
- Anti-Static : Surface treated by ionization to avoid fixing dust.
- Sterilised by ethylene oxide

- Protection of Surgical wounds

Contraindication
- None listed
Precautions of use
- Stop any bleeding at the site before applying the dressing.
- Do not stretch the Neofilm® during application as tension can cause skin trauma.
- Make sure the skin is dry and free of soap residu and lotion to prevent skin irritation
and to ensure good adhesion.
- Neofilm® should not be re- sterilized by gamma, e-beam or steam methods.
- The dressing may be used on an infected site, only when under the care of a health
care practitioner. - Verify the integrity of the packing before use.
Packaging
- The Neofilm ® is packaged in a protective pouch individual sterility for the withdrawal and use of the product under aseptic conditions.
