Description

    Absorbable natural twisted ribbon of collagen

Indications

  • Urologic surgery
  • Rectal surgery
  • Digestive surgery

Contraindication

    CAT-CHROM® sutures should not be used where extended approximation of tissues under stress is required or in patients suffering from conditions which may delay wound healin

Materials

  • Thread of collagen resulting from intestinal tissues of mammals. After cleaning, the membranes are cut in bands with variable widths. The membranes are assembled, twisted, dried and duplicated. They are selected, sterilized and treated by glycerol for a better suppleness.
  • Needle in stainless steel with different shapes and lengths adapted to diameter of thread.

    15 days by proteolysis
